Gamers will probably take exception with your first one. I'm more of a casual gamer but if you are into having the best graphics, you kinda need a desktop for thermal reasons. You can get a gaming laptop but I've found they are super loud to be able to cool their graphics cards, kind of a physics issue with the small size.

Totally agree though on the Lenovo red track pointer - that thing is useless!
